Parties in Bloom: Garden Tea Party

I am so honored to share this delightful Garden Tea Party sent to us all the way from Australia.  Alex Shaw of The Inspired Occasion is an amazing party planner and her work has been featured on several site around the web (including Amy Atlas)!  So, I was beyond excited when she let us share her work.

For her daughter's sixth birthday, Alex put a twist on the usual Alice in Wonderland theme by taking it to the garden, so to speak.  Did you catch the white rabbit?  The bright pastel color scheme immediately sets the light, joyful feel of the party.  The table was set with lots of delicious treats including; cake pops, tarts, biscuits, jelly and finger sandwiches.  The dessert station was filled with jars of fun candy and the beautiful ruffle cake that Alex made! The bright yellow, pink and green cupcakes were the first things that caught my eye.  I  love how they are playful, fun and actually look like they fit in a real garden.  Each of the guests took home a little pot of flowers to create their own garden, along with a personalized chocolate bar. Alex did such an incredible job transforming the space into a beautiful garden getaway! I am SO happy she shared it with us! Thanks, Alex.
